Hidden inside El Malo Tacos lies Hermanita, a not-so-hidden bar where craft Mexican cocktails meet true street culture. Our menu is developed by Beverage Director Jenna "Duckie" Reynolds (Diageo World Class Top 5, 2023), we've transformed from a taco shop with great margaritas into Charlotte's Mexican cocktail destination. Try Jenna's signature Curryosa, stay for El Malo's street tacos served straight to your seat til midnight on weekends.

Reservations for La Serenata

Debuting our first-ever Valentine’s pop-up: La Serenata, a celebration of love, friendship, and heartbreak. Running February 9–22, La Serenata draws inspiration from El Día del Amor y la Amistad (The Day of Love and Friendship). Sip from Hermanita’s new 2026 menu, plus La Serenata specialties like the La Rosa and Champagne for two, while enjoying limited-time specials from El Malo like Puerto Nuevo–style lobster burritos and sizzling fajitas.

Plus, don't miss a special Noche de Despecho on Friday, February 21, with @fabz.dj, blending English and Spanish heartbreak anthems into a cathartic dance floor designed for singing along, and letting go.
