Noche Eterna
For the first time, Hermanita is transforming for Día de los Muertos. Noche Eterna, meaning "eternal night," fills the bar with marigolds, candlelight, papel picado and calaveras. At its heart is an ofrenda built by the Hermanita team, honoring family, friends and the generations who came before us.
Our bartenders are adding a limited-time collection of Día de los Muertos cocktails to the Botanika menu. New to the holiday? Come in, look around and ask us about the ofrenda.

Through Noche Eterna, Botanika stays on the menu. The bar works more like an apothecary here: spirits infuse, spices steep, and botanicals take their time. Think mojo-seasoned gin, molé-washed mezcal and tamarind-infused rye. Order the namesake Botanika and pair it with bar snacks like Fruta y Tajín, Goma Goma, or Chapulines y Miseria (fried crickets and peanuts in our house spice blend).

Step behind the striped door inside El Malo and into Hermanita, Plaza Midwood's hidden cocktail bar. From Oct. 13 through Nov. 30, you'll find it dressed for Noche Eterna, with Día de los Muertos cocktails alongside Botanika, late-night bar snacks and the full El Malo menu. Resident DJs Lex Longa, Fabz, Kato, Kayla Nicole and Bee Candy keep the room moving all month.
Open Sunday and Monday, 5–10 p.m., and Tuesday through Saturday, 5 p.m.–midnight. Reservations and walk-ins welcome.
